Please Help Me!

Sphynx Rescue has recently taken in a female named Jewels that is merely a skeleton. We are trying to diagnose her now. Right now, her vet bills are over $200 and rising. She needs several more blood tests, a possible Ultrasound with tissue biopsy, and possibly an exploratory surgery. All of this will cost the rescue $1000 or more and our funds are completely exhausted. Please consider donating to help us save Jewels! Any amount helps!

This girl is so sweet and she deserves a chance.

These were taken August 21st (we acquired her on Friday Aug 18th). She weighs in at exactly 4 pounds (click to enlarge):

Jewels has been diagnosed as having severe food allergies. She is allergic to just about everything! She is currently on an all raw, no vegetable or grains. Ground Chicken, Turkey, Organs, and supplements only. She has still not stabilized enough to be spayed or have the exploratory surgery that is planned. Just as sweet as can be though! This girl has been through so much (including daily fluids) and still just purrs the entire time! Here are some pics of her when is having a good day:

Thank you to everyone that has donated to Jewels' fund!

Jewels update: Jewels has been spayed. She needed to have surgery to correct an injured toe, so we went ahead and did the spay surgery as well. She is up to about 5.5 pounds now. She is doing a lot better than when she first came into rescue, but still continues to have a relapse from time to time. As a result, Jewels will stay in rescue permanently. We don't want to adopt out any kitties that have prolonged illness that will have astronomic vet bills. Please consider donating to Jewels' fund which will go to pay all of her future medical expenses.
